Molyneux fluffed Fable Journey reveal
"I made a horrendous mistake."Fable creator Peter Molyneux has apologised for the misleading announcement of Kinect game Fable: The Journey.
In the Microsoft E3 press conference, a tall dark stranger controlled what appeared to be an on-rails first-person Fable experience. He cast spells at the game's goblin-like Hobb enemies by waving his arms.
Was that an accurate portrayal of Fable: The Journey? No, said silly Peter, it wasn't!
"I made a horrendous mistake on the press demo of taking out the navigation allowing players to move," admitted Peter to OXM.
"I will just say on record now that Fable: The Journey is definitely not on rails."
