Dashes - Time Trials which see you make it to a checkpoint somewhere else in the city as fast as you can - are some of the most challenging parts of the game. You'll unlock all of the routes over the course of playing the campaign - which you can follow as part of the Mirror's Edge Catalyst walkthrough - seeing Dashes unlock inside Downtown, Anchor, The View and Rezoning. Here's how to get three stars in every Dash in The View.

Noah's Run

Note that you need MAGrope upgrades with this walkthrough.

Go into the building, and instead of running upstairs, go straight ahead so you go outside, and run alongside the outside of the building, dropping down to the outside ledge when you reach the end of this balcony. Keep going, and after you turn right after the wall run, cut left, so you pull yourself up to the building ahead with the MAGrope. From here, now follow the arrows to the end marker.

This is the MAGrope that gets you back on track in Noah's Run.

Too Close to the Sun

Note that you need MAGrope upgrades with this walkthrough.

Follow the route as normal, and when you have to drop quite far down to a building below, instead cut through the building right, and go to the right of the long, black fountain that stretches ahead. At the end, turn to the right, leap across onto the bright blue platform that's more or less on the same level as you, and run to the end of the one ahead of it. Use the zip line in the right corner, and when you touch down, you'll be back on track with the suggested route. Continue that to the finish marker.

The Scenic Route

Note that you need MAGrope upgrades with this walkthrough.

For once, there is no shortcut or trick to this particular Dash - follow the route as suggested as fast as you can to get three stars. A particularly troublesome part is after the zipline to the long bridge; make sure you land and roll underneath the barrier, and then stick to the left as you continue to make your way down for the quickest route, before cutting round right just before the end and going along the side of the building. Good luck!

Make sure you roll underneath the barrier when you drop off the zipline.

Don't Fall Down

Note that you need MAGrope upgrades with this walkthrough.

Instead of following the arrow going ahead and to the left, ignore it, and instead run off to the far right, where you can get a MAGrope way off into the distance to a roof of a farway building. Head left along the edge, up two sets of steps, and vault the flowerbeds to reach the edge. Take a right, past the umbrellas, and at the corner there is a MAGrope on your left. At the top, run round to the other side where there's a tightrope. Go right after that, quick turn jump up to the very top, then take a right across the neon bridge. You will now rejoin the suggested route, so just go straight ahead, up the ledges as fast as you can, to the marker at the top.

Calab's Run

Take the starting line at an angle so you sprint straight through the doorway right, and instead of taking the route up, go down below to the ground, vaulting through the wide window and over the rock formation. Stay on this lower level onward, until you reach an area with tables and chairs, and at the last set, leap up and right to rejoin the main path outside. When you MAGrope across, swing it hard left, so you avoid the upper route suggested and cut it out by landing on a walkway at the edge of the building, which you use to take you round the edge and to the marker ahead.
