Media Molecule hiring for portable title

LittleBigPlanet NGP staying in-house?

LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule is working on a new handheld title, according to a recruitment listing.

The job listing for a graphics programmer on the developer's official site gives nothing away about the nature of the title, other than confirming "it's on a portable platform".

The obvious candidate is of course a new LittleBigPlanet title for the NGP, as hinted at during Sony's hardware reveal earlier this year. The developer's DIY platforming franchise touched down on the PSP back in 2009, though that title was developed by Sony's own Cambridge studio.

When reached for comment by Joystiq, Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans responded, "Well spotted! However, at the moment I'm afraid we've got nothing to announce regarding any projects... sorry. We'll have to leave the world speculating a little longer..."
