Lich King to release in fourth quarter

It's out between October and December.

In an earnings call with investors last week, Blizzard chief Mike Morhaime confirmed that second World of Warcraft expansion Wrath of the Lich King will release in the fourth quarter of this year.

"We have said that it will be coming out this year," he said, according to Shacknews. "I can tell you it's not coming in the July to September quarter."

Some time between the start of October and end of December it is, then. WOW players will definitely be exploring Northrend's snowy wastes this Christmas.
