EA has confirmed Kinect support for the Xbox 360 version of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1.

James and Oliver Phelps, the actors who play Fred and George Weasley in the Harry Potter films, joined EA on stage at gamescom to demonstrate the controls. They played as Harry Potter and Ron Weasley, co-operatively.

A delay between their gestures and the on-screen animations was noticeable but didn't appear to hamper progress.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows presents a third-person shooter take on the licence, filtering Harry's arsenal of curriculum spells into a variety of damage types.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 will be released in November.
