Hogrocket iOS debut set for 1st Sept

Ex-Bizarre team ready for "new chapter".

Hogrocket, the UK indie that rose from the ashes of Bizarre Creations, has revealed that its first iOS title will launch on 1st September.

The three-man studio of Ben Ward (formerly Bizarre's community manager), Pete Collier (senior level designer on The Club and Blood Stone) and Stephen Cakebread (the creator of Geometry Wars), is keeping quiet on the details of the game until release day.

We did, however, manage to prize open Collier's mouth just long enough to hear the following:

"We're mega excited to be releasing our very first game here at Hogrocket. The shift from AAA to mobile has been a really rewarding challenge and this launch marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for us. We hope you enjoy the game!"

Eurogamer has been lucky enough to have a play around with the game and can say that it looks like it'll be well worth the wait.

We'll have full details on 1st September as the game becomes available.
