Gizmondo to make a comeback?

Having spent a happy morning reminiscing about the golden days of Gizmondo, imagine our surprise to learn it could be about to make a comeback.
That's if you believe Gizmondolive.com. There's a short movie on the site which begins with the declaration, "The legend is reborn". The intriguing phrase, "Gizmondo live marketplace" is displayed along with the stirring pledge, "We WILL democratize gaming". But best of all is the promise of "Exciting psychic worlds".
For the finale, the movie says Gizmondo will be "Rising again in 2008". Can this be true? Well, what do you think. But we'll be doing a bit of digging anyway, desperate to turn this tiny dewdrop of hope into a glorious fountain of joy gushing its spectacular mess all over a Californian highway.
