Gary Oldman outs Dark Knight game

EA hides behind bat-wall of silence.

Actor Gary Oldman, who plays Lt. James Gordon in The Dark Knight, has confirmed that a videogame of the film is being made.

He spoke to G4 TV in a video interview - removed from YouTube but reposted on GameTrailers - about making Batman's gliding mechanic feel fluid rather than stop-start in "the videogame".

Oldman stopped short of naming a developer or publisher, but logic would assume this is the much whispered about Pandemic and EA project.

Weirdly, all this was kept under wraps during E3, which also coincided with the launch of The Dark Knight in cinemas.

Anyway, would-be publisher EA still had nothing to say about matters when we spoke to a representative earlier.

Pandemic, of course, is also hard at work on Mercenaries 2 and Lord of the Rings: Conquest, both of which are due out this autumn.
