Frontier's Roller Coaster Tycoon successor ScreamRide gets a March release date

Build it up just to tear it down.

ScreamRide, Frontier Development's spiritual successor to Roller Coaster Tycoon, now has a 6th March European release date on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

North Americans will receive in on 3rd March.

As announced on the Xbox Wire, ScreamRide will retail for $39.99 (about £30) on Xbox One and $29.99 (about £20) on Xbox 360.

The game will contain more than 50 levels, online leaderboards and three gameplay modes: Engineer, ScreamRider and Demolition Expert.

While the building elements seems fairly similar to Roller Coaster Tycoon, ScreamRide has a big destructive component to it as well where you're tasked with demolishing environments to meet various conditions, ala the older Burnout games' much beloved Crash Mode.

For more on ScreamRide, here's Xbox Live head honcho Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb giving us an overview.
