Fez development finally wraps up

Stunning indie platformer submitted to Microsoft.

Rabidly-anticipated Xbox Live Arcade platformer Fez is finally ready for release, developer Polytron has revealed.

A post on its Twitter feed yesterday, as spotted by Edge, announced that the game has been submitted to Microsoft for certification.

A firm release date has not yet been confirmed but another Tweet from the studio read: "When we said Fez was coming out in Q1 2012, what we really meant was Q1 of Q2 2012." So, some time in April then.

It's been a long time coming - the game was first announced way back in 2008 and has suffered delay after delay since.

Judging by the jaw-slackening trailer below, it should be well worth the wait.
