The world and its dog may be jabbering about Fable III in all sorts of places, but what about you and your dog? Perhaps you fancy running around Fable II's Knothole Island, in which case you'll be pleased to hear it's the subject of a weeklong price-cut.

Previously 800 Microsoft Points (GBP 6.80 / EUR 9.60), the downloadable content pack now goes for 560 MSP on Xbox Live Marketplace, which is GBP 4.76 / EUR 6.72 in old money, and more importantly the same price as its successor, See the Future.

We've not exactly lavished either with praise, noting that Knothole Island was a bit straightforward and expensive, but there's little doubting our affection for all things Fable II. We keep meaning to go back and buy Stephen Fry's house, too - goodness knows how much rent we'll pick up next time we switch it on.

Fable II: Knothole Island will return to its original price point on 6th July.
