Dying Light video shows why night is bad news

Zombies' senses heighten, and so does their hunger.

Dying Light is more than just a name for Technland's new zombie game: it's a warning.

Because in Dying Light, when the lights go out, the zombies become more dangerous. Their senses become more acute and their hunger for flesh "skyrockets", according to the video description on YouTube.

Backing this idea up is a day and night cycle that should keep you on your toes, as illustrated in the new 10-minute gameplay video below.

The game launches on PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 in 2014.
