Dishwasher: Vampire Smile revealed

"More badass" follow-up to Dead Samurai.

Developer Ska Studios has lifted the lid on The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile, an Xbox Live Arcade follow-up to The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai.

Vampire Smile will be done "when it's done" and be "bigger, better and more badass" than ever before, said studio founder James Silva.

The same stylish, side-scrolling presentation will be present here and so will the gory, screen-splattering powerhouse array of moves that made Dead Samurai so eye-catching.

There will be two solo campaigns, a co-op campaign, 50 quick arcade challenges and an endless Dish Challenge.

And a new game obviously means new weapons, such as a girder wrapped in barbed wire called the Violence Hammer and a giant syringe called the Painkiller.

Head over to The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile gallery for a batch of screenshots. Alternatively, venture to the official website for the first trailer.

Alternatively alternatively, check out our review of The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai, which we rather liked.
