SEGA's Captain America and Thor movie tie-in games will launch on the Nintendo 3DS.

"It's official - the Thor and Captain America games will be available on the Nintendo 3DS!" read a SEGA tweet.

Meanwhile, SEGA confirmed that the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of both games support 3D.

The Thor game arrives on 29th April - the same day the Thor film airs across the UK.

Matt Fraction, Thor comic author, has written the game, and SEGA has persuaded Thor actor Chris Hemsworth to reprise his muscular role.

Captain America: Super Soldier, meanwhile, is due out in the summer. It's a third-person action adventure with lots of jumping and running around and a hefty dose of combat. The latter will rely on Captain America's iconic star-shield, which can be used defensively and offensively to batter helpless and not-so helpless - Iron Cross, Red Skull - foes.

The story is original and dreamt up by Marvel comic writer Christos Gage. He's worked on series such as Avengers: The Initiative, Siege: Captain America, The Invincible Iron Man, X-Men, Spider-Man and more. The plot aims to compliment the film, due out 22nd July 2011.
