Bloodstained has a publisher - and some new test footage

Cracking.

Bloodstained, the Castlevania spiritual successor helmed by Koji Igarashi, now has a publisher.

505 Games, publisher of games such as Payday 2 and Virginia, has signed on to help bring Bloodstained to market.

The video, below, includes some new test footage of the game, which is set for release in 2018 after raising a whopping $5.5m on Kickstarter.

Back in June we got our first proper look at Bloodstained, and it looked pretty fine. Igarashi has become synonymous with the Metroidvania genre that he helped birth. Simon Parkin caught up with him a couple of years back to find a little more about his story.
