Blast Factor MP pack

Goes live today.

PlayStation 3's downloadable shoot-'em-up Blast Factor is to receive a multiplayer boost today with the release of a four-player pack for US$ 2.99 via the console's online store.

Anybody playing it will then be able to tackle the game in up-to-four-player co-operative and "grudge match" modes, with the option to increase the game's speed by half, too.

We've been having a poke around the PS3 Store recently, so look out for some feedback on the games there in the very near future. GripShift for example. My poor, derided GripShift.

Also up on the PS3 Store, if you're in a position to do anything about it, is the PSone racer Jet Moto, which - for US$ 5.99 - can be downloaded and played on your PSP. There's still no word on when we can expect a direct PSP download system, so if you don't have a PS3 you're still out of luck.

There was no sign of this stuff when we popped onto the PS3 Store just now, but we'll give it a going over once there is.
