Black Ops beats Gears 3 in XBL chart

Gears of War 3 has failed to usurp perennial chart hog Call of Duty: Black Ops as the most played title on Xbox Live.

As detailed on Major Nelson's blog, Epic's game debuted at two on the Xbox Live activity chart for the week starting September 19th, one ahead of Modern Warfare 2.

Dead Island is down in seventh, while the FIFA 12 demo is at eight. Here's the full top 20, taking into account global unique users connected to Xbox Live:
