Horizon Zero Dawn's PC "technical issues" are Guerrilla's "highest priority" right now

"Please know that we are investigating your reports as our highest priority."

Horizon Zero Dawn developer Guerrilla Interactive has released a statement saying it is investigating the "technical issues" currently plaguing the game's port to PC.

"We have been monitoring all of our channels and are aware that some players have been experiencing crashes and other technical issues," said a statement on Steam. "Please know that we are investigating your reports as our highest priority.

"We appreciate those who have already taken the time to report their issues on Steam, Reddit, or via our website," the statement continues. "If you are still encountering crashes or bugs, please continue to use those spaces, or refer to our FAQ if you are unsure of how to proceed. Your reports are, and have already been, incredibly helpful for our teams."

At the time of writing, Horizon Zero Dawn on Steam sports a "mixed" review rating, with many players still reporting numerous performance issues.

In the Eurogamer Horizon Zero Dawn PC review, we said: "...to see such an amazingly polished console experience transition to PC with so many issues and with depressed performance is a problem. Death Stranding set the bar with a technically solid (if not especially scalable) port and to see Horizon Zero Dawn fall so far short by comparison is such a letdown. We will be waiting to see if these issues are addressed over time, but right now, while the game itself is highly recommended, we can't say the same for this PC conversion".
