Far Cry 5 - Gone Squatchin’ solution

How to find and complete Far Cry 5's Gone Squatchin’ treasure puzzle.

Far Cry 5 Gone Squatchin' is a puzzle you have to solve within the Whitetail Mountains region.

It's one of many Prepper Stash locations you'll find throughout the game, all giving you rewards once you solve and figure out how to access them.

Gone Squatchin' solution

Location: Danksy Cabin

Rewards: $1,000, 3 x perk magazines, Fishing Magazine: Chinook Salmon, vinyl crate

Prepare for a long hike and climb for this Prepper Stash. Approach the cabin from the direction of the road, so you end up at the rear of the cabin. A solitary hunting bow-toting sniper will be sat nearby.

Take him out and head to the front of the cabin to find the Prepper Stash clue and initiate the side-quest.

From here, head towards and past the roving gunsmith. Follow the bloodstains, looking up to see some pages fluttering off from a broken ledge above. Follow the path to the top, then approach the book with all the pages flying away.

Read the journal entry to initiate the next phase of the side-quest. Now follow the bloodstains as they head towards the cliff faces.

Use your grappling hook to reach the high ledge, then clamber up a couple of ledges. Now use your grapple to swing across to another ledge, followed by a few more stone platforms.

Follow past the campsite with the hat on the floor, then turn right and look for the next blue cord platform around the corner.

Climb up, and again when you reach the next level, then use the two grapple points to swing over the chasm and reach the far platform. Leap across the gap and grapple down from the point with the deer corpse.

At the bottom, you'll find the corpse, the keycard you need and a cave that looks a little too high for a bear to reach...

Now parachute or climb down back towards the cabin, but beware there may be a sniper gutting a moose/elk with a judge nearby.

Take out both, unlock one of the doors with the keycard you grabbed from the corpse and enter the cabin to collect all the gear, goodies and other gems contained inside.
