Unmetered Internet Access In The UK!

According to this story over on The Register, British Telecom are finally going to introduce unmetered internet access. If OFTEL (the body that regulates the telecoms industry in the UK) clears the plan, it could be available next spring.

The bad news is that it will cost £34.99 a month to get unlimited internet access, about double what Americans pay. Still, that will actually work out cheaper for me given my current phone bill... Of course, by next spring cable modems and ADSL might finally be appearing in this god-forsaken land.
