AC: Revelations Collector's Ed. detailed

Plus, super-deluxe Animus Edition.

Ubisoft has revealed details of two separate special editions of Assassin's Creed: Revelations.

The Collector's Edition features a 50-page artbook, the game's soundtrack and a copy of animated movie Assassin's Creed: Embers (trailered below) which expands on the tale of franchise protagonist Ezio Auditore.

On top of that, there's also the obligatory additional in-game content. You get two additional multiplayer characters - the Ottoman Jester and The Crusader – and access to the prison of Vlad the Impaler, where you'll be able to pilfer a new close-quarters dagger.

The Animus Edition includes an in-depth franchise encyclopedia, a copy of Embers, the above in-game extras and a few more besides. You'll get capacity upgrades for your hidden gun bullets, bombs and crossbow arrows; and the Armour of Brutus from Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

The Collector's Edition will set you back £59.99 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and £49.99 on PC, through the UbiShop.

The Animus Edition, on the other hand, goes for £68.99 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and £59.99 on PC, through UbiShop or GameStop's UK site.

Embers will also be available as a separate download from PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. Pricing and release date for that are yet to be confirmed.

This year's entry in the Assassin's Creed saga is due out on 15th November.
