Have there really been five Assassin's Creed games? All on just one generation of consoles? How time flies.
Ahead of the release of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Ubisoft has announced the Assassin's Creed Heritage Collection, due out on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on 8th November 2013. It bundles together the five previous Assassin's Creed games.
The list of content in full, along with official descriptions:
- Assassin's Creed: Draw your blades as Syrian Assassin Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad during the Third Crusade.
- Assassin's Creed II (Game of the Year Edition): Lead your Brotherhood as Ezio Audtiore in the Italian Renaissance, also containing the Battle of Forli and Bonfire of the Vanities DLCs.
- Assassin's Creed Brotherhood: Set-up your Assassin Brotherhood in Rome to overthrow the Borgia Family.
- Assassin's Creed Revelations: Follow in the footsteps of the legendary Altaïr in Constantinople to close the Renaissance Trilogy.
- Assassin's Creed III: Challenge the Templar's supremacy as Connor throughout the American Revolution.
The sixth game in the series, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, launches later this year as a cross-generation title. The series has sold more than 57 million units worldwide to date.
