Yakuza 1 and 2 HD Edition outed by Sega release schedule

PlayStation 3 exclusive in December.

HD remakes of Yakuza and Yakuza 2 have appeared on a Sega Japan release schedule.

A listing for Yakuza 1&2 HD Edition popped up on Sega's Japanese website, spotted by Andriasang, for launch on PlayStation 3 on 1st December 2012. The listing was removed.

Yakuza launched in 2005 for the PlayStation 2 and was billed as the Japanese Grand Theft Auto. The sequel launched in 2008.

The existence of the HD collection makes sense given Sega's focus on digital products and its willingness to delve into its back catalogue for HD remakes in recent months.
