Wii game A Boy and His Blob revived for modern systems

Hugs.

Heart-warming puzzle platformer A Boy and His Blob - the game with a hug button - came out on Wii back in 2009. Now, it's about to hit PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The port of WayForward's original is published by Majesco. According to the Xbox Store (listing spotted by NeoGAF user Banjo-Kazooie) it's out on 20th January. No doubt that's when it'll launch on PlayStation 4, too. A rating on PEGI mentioned PC and Vita versions, too.

Dan Whitehead reviewed A Boy and His Blob for Eurogamer, awarding it an 8/10. "Gently challenging without being frustrating, and quietly ingenious in its construction, A Boy and His Blob is one of the Wii's sweetest surprises," he wrote.
