Warhammer 40K MMO years away

A couple of them, says THQ boss.

THQ boss Brian Farrell has told that the publisher's Warhammer 40,000 MMO is "probably still a couple of years out".

This comes as no surprise - the project was only announced last March and no details have been released as yet.

Warhammer 40K Online is being developed by THQ-owned Vigil Games in Austin, Texas. Vigil is a new studio formed by comic artist Joe Madureia, and it's also working on Darksiders: Wrath of War.

Almost everyone we mention EA Mythic's Warhammer Online to says, "Great, but what about a Warhammer 40K MMO?" So we'd imagine there will be quite a few interested eyes on this during those next couple of years. Including ours.
