Vogster unveils CrimeCraft MMO

GTA-style affair for PC, PS3 and 360.

Developer Vogster has whipped the wrappers off its real-life inspired MMO, CrimeCraft.

It's a third-person shooter for PC, PS3 and 360, and is down for a March 2009 release.

CrimeCraft will be free to download and play, bizarrely, and the idea is that you become a big crime figure in a city and maybe drive a Ford Escort with a spoiler.

You are encouraged to form gangs in order to win respect, and can make your own clothes to sell to others for money and shoot people.

It's powered by Unreal Engine 3, looks convincing enough, and the official website should appear in full sometime soon.

Also, no elves.
