Vita memory card prices announced for US

$120 for top 32GB version.

PlayStation Vita's proprietary memory cards will cost US gamers at least $29.99, with prices going all the way up to $119.99, according to GameStop.

The retailer is selling the basic 4GB model for $29.99 (around £19), an 8GB card for $44.99, 16GB for $69.99 and 32GB for a hefty $119.99 (around £77).

UK prices for Sony's cards have yet to be confirmed, though GameStop's numbers should offer a guideline.

As previously reported, most Vita games will require a memory card for you to save your progress, with some not even booting up unless one is installed. A card is not included with a basic Vita purchase.
