Two adventure games on XBLA this week

A treat is in store for adventure game fans on Xbox Live arcade this week, according to Major Nelson.

First up is Sam & Max Beyond Time & Space, the second season in the popular series. Expect lots of time-travelling and interactions with historical figures - read our review of the PC version for more.

Then there's Axel & Pixel. It follows the adventures of the title characters, an artist and his dog, as they journey through the hand-painted land of Dream World.

Both games will be released tomorrow. Sam & Max Beyond Time & Space will set you back 1600 Microsoft Points (£13.60 / €19.20), while Axel & Pixel is cheap at half the price.
