THQ has revealed it's now sold more than 50 million games based on Nickelodeon shows, racking up USD 1 billion in sales.

Top-selling titles include games based on SpongeBob SquarePants and Avatar: The Last Airbender. New instalments in both series are due out on PS2, DS and Wii later this year, along with a game based around The Naked Brothers Band.

Tak and the Guardians of Gross is on the way to PS2 and Wii, while the DS will get Tak Mojo Mistake and Back at the Barnyard: Slop Bucket Games.

But perhaps most interesting is the announcement of Drawn to Life: SpongeBob Square Pants Edition. The original DTL allowed you to draw your own characters and environments - a good idea, but unfortunately not that great in practice. The new SpongeBob-themed game will be exclusive to DS, and a Wii version of the original is also on the way.

All of THQ's newly unveiled Nickelodeon games are due out in the autumn.
