Star Wars' Finn actor calls for a Battlefront story mode

Boyega says its single-player "definitely leaves you wanting".

Star Wars: The Force Awakens lead actor John Boyega has publicly called Electronic Arts out for its lack of a single-player story mode in Star Wars: Battlefront.

"Will fans get a full on offline story mode? It's more of an enjoyable way to learn controls," the man who plays Finn tweeted to @EAStarWars.

He further noted that he's "been playing Battlefront for years."

To its credit, EA responded to Boyega. "Have you had a chance to try the Missions?" the publisher asked.

"Yeah thought it was great! But definitely leaves you wanting to engage within a narrative," Boyega replied, echoing the sentiment of many.

The actor then asked to visit the studio, to which EA acquiesced to.

Boyega is certainly not alone in his desire for a story mode, as many complained when it was announced this series reboot wouldn't contain a full single-player campaign.
