Splinter Cell Trilogy release delayed

Shops point to June launch.

The US launch of Splinter Cell Trilogy has been delayed, IGN reports.

It now launches in the US on 21st June.

Amazon.co.uk lists the game with a Friday 17th June release date. ShopTo agrees.

Play.com, however, says it's out on 20th May.

Ubisoft told Eurogamer this morning the game carries an official UK release date of "the first half of 2011".

Splinter Cell Trilogy is a PlayStation 3 collection containing HD versions of PlayStation 2 games Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory.

Following on the heals of last year's excellent Prince of Persia HD pack, Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy also includes support for integrated 3D stereoscopic view.
