PSP back at number one in Japan

MGS4 no longer putting PS3 on top.

The PSP is topping the hardware charts in Japan once again, according to Media Create figures.

More than 59,000 handhelds were sold last week, compared to 20,000 PlayStation 3s. It would seem the MGS4 effect has subsided, then.

The Wii was the second best-selling machine, with 41,000 units shifted, followed by the DS (36,600).

The PS2 came in fifth with just over 6000 consoles sold, while Xbox 360 managed a not very respectable 2500.
