PlayStation Vita region free

Importers rejoice.

The PlayStation Vita is region free, Sony has confirmed.

Sony president of worldwide studios Shuhei Yoshida took to Twitter to make the announcement.

It means you'll be able to play games from any territory, including Japan, on your Vita.

The handheld launches in Europe early next year, but releases in Japan on 17th December.
