Nintendo surprise-launches free Switch skipping exercise game Jump Rope Challenge
Hop on that.
Nintendo has surprise-launched a new free Switch game on the eShop.
Jump Rope Challenge is a skipping exercise game created by a small group of Nintendo developers while working from home in Japan during the coronavirus lockdown.

You use a pair of Joy-Con controllers as if they were a skipping rope to virtually jump rope. Two people can play together for the high score, with each person holding one Joy-Con. The characters are hopping bunnies, and it's all rather simple - the menus are basic and there is no tutorial to skip through. As Nintendo puts you, it's quick and easy to learn the ropes. Heh.

Oh, and if you're worried about making too much of a racket while you're playing, you can bend your knees or move your arms to play without creating any noise.

It's all very nice, really. Jump Rope Challenge is out now for free on the Nintendo eShop as a limited-time release until the end of September 2020.
