Nintendo dates Mewtwo Amiibo for October
Smash Bros. figurine series moving onto DLC characters.Mewtwo, the first Amiibo based upon a Super Smash Bros. DLC character, has been given a 23rd October UK release date.
Nintendo has nearly exhausted its collection of figurines based upon fighters from Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U.
But it has already confirmed that Mewtwo's fellow DLC characters such as Lucas and Ryu are on the way. And there are several add-on characters yet to be announced, chosen for inclusion in the game by fan vote.
After that, Nintendo will next begin launching figurines based upon the main characters from Animal Crossing, as well as cheaper card-based Amiibo for other Animal Crossing villagers.
