Devs excited by Revolution pad

Molyneux and Naka both.

According to reports, Peter Molyneux and Yuji Naka have both come out in support of Nintendo's Revolution game controller, which has so far been shrouded in mystery.

"There is a line at the end of the book 'Game Over' and it is: 'Never underestimate Nintendo'. That is all I can say about the controller," Molyneux reportedly told someone in Leipzig last week. Meanwhile, Yuji Naka says "everyone will be pleasantly surprised".

The controller's towering achievement in recent months has been to become synonymous with the word "fake", but if quotes attributed to the Black & White and Sonic creators are accurate, it supports Nintendo's argument that it's going to be something special.

As does the writing of Computer Gaming Magazine. "Simply, the Revolution controller will provide resistance to being tilted," and does so wirelessly, Matthew Gallant wrote in a piece we can no longer access.

Whatever. Show us the damn pad.
