Diesel to star in Wheelman film
Yet another game adaptation.
Chronicles of Riddick star Vin Diesel is to take the leading role in the film version of The Wheelman, a new game currently in development over at Midway.
Described as being "intensely riveting," it's currently in development at Diesel's own Tigon Studios and will "serve as the introduction to a series of related entertainment offerings," apparently.
The movie is being produced by MTV Films and Paramount Pictures, and will star Vin Diesel as "an expert wheelman who comes out of retirement to protect a woman from his past."
According to Hollywood trade paper Variety, the game - which reported has a $15 million budget - is in development for PS3 and Xbox 360. It's slated for a release in late 2007 alongside the film.
