Gastronaut Studios' Small Arms is due to debut on Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow morning, where it will retail for 800 Microsoft points - with the usual trial version available to help recommend it.

Billed as a sort of shoot-'em-up/beat-'em-up hybrid, Small Arms sees you directing characters with the left stick and firing with the right, using the control pad's bumpers to jump and the triggers to alternate between modes of fire.

It features eight levels, with some 12 characters to choose from and support for up to four players, and will be Xbox Live Arcade's first major original release since Xbox camera title TotemBall at the start of October.
