Nintendo's GBA and DS compatible MP3 player is due out on 8th December and will retail for GBP 20.

The adapter - "just like the Play Yan" according to a Nintendo spokesperson - comes with a 512MB SD card that allows you to load music files onto it via PC.

You can then plug the adapter that holds the SD card into a GBA SP, GB Micro or Nintendo DS and listen to songs on the go.

And as you might have guessed, you can also opt for a different SD card if you want to stuff more songs onto it - the Play Yan was compatible with SD cards up to a capacity of 2GB.
