Vivendi Hits & Runs faster

Last week we brought you word that unashamed GTA rip-off The Simpsons Hit & Run had gone gold and would be out on November 7th on PS2, Xbox and Cube. Well, now Vivendi has seen fit to make liars out of us by doing the unthinkable - moving the game forward to October 31st.

As previously discussed, this is very much GTA Simpsons-style, with Homer, Bart, Marge, Lisa and Apu completing various missions at venues as diverse as the Kwik-E-Mart, the Nuclear Power Plant and Moe's Tavern, whilst simultaneously keeping an eye out for 49 hidden collector cards - although instead of spawning weapons in the Simpsons' lounge, these bonuses will unlock episode-specific bonus material.

In addition to the console versions now destined for release on October 31st, a PC version will appear on November 21st.
