Mafia Xbox gets Euro release date

What took-a you so long?

Take-Two's Gathering label is preparing to ship Mafia on Xbox in the UK on March 26th, the publisher confirmed today, to be followed by non-English language versions across the rest of Europe on April 2nd. The news came courtesy of a shipping announcement for the US release, which is already on store shelves.

As you may recall, Kristan wasn't altogether thrilled by the PS2 port, and by all accounts the Xbox version isn't all that different from its PS2 sibling, which it was originally expected to ship alongside it at the end of January.

Still, if your PC still balks at the system requirements of the now sub-£20 PC version, it is in the words of our esteemed leader "a good rental if nothing else". Sadly however, in mafioso parlance, it's not really an offer you can't refuse.
