Prince of Persia: Warrior Within has slipped a week and will now be released on December 3rd across Europe on PS2, Xbox, Cube and PC, reflecting a slight delay in the US where the game will now be released on November 30th.

Warrior Within, the follow-up to last year's critically acclaimed The Sands of Time, had been due out in Europe on November 26th. It tracks the progress of the prince as he reaches the Castle of Time, where he aims to put paid to the creatures pursuing him angered by his disruption of the timeline.

Ubisoft has placed a much greater emphasis on getting the combat right this time, reacting to criticism of some areas of The Sands of Time, and has gone for a much darker look and gloomier atmosphere - to stunning visual effect.

We should have our take on Warrior Within online as we get closer to the game's release.
