Phantom heading to Europe

But they're not saying when.

Infinium Labs has confirmed that the Phantom games on demand service is heading to Europe - but there's no news on when.

The Phantom Game Service will allow anyone with a broadband network (and the Phantom receiver box, of course) to access "a broad library of games designed to appeal to both the avid gamer as well as the casual player," according to the official website.

The Phantom made its European debut at the Develop Industry Excellence Awards last night, and was met with a "fantastic response" according to Infinium Labs CEO Kevin Bachus.

"Europe and the UK have a pivotal role in content development," he said.

"There is huge support for an effective online channel that takes gaming direct to consumers."

Infinium didn't say when the Phantom would launch in the UK or how much we can expect to pay for the service, but we'll keep you posted.
