New DS to hit Japan on November 1st

Comes in two colours, costs a hundred quid.

Nintendo has announced the new addition to the DS family will launch in Japan on November 1st.

The DSi will be priced at JPY 18,900 (GBP 100 / EUR 130). White and black models will be available.

As previously reported, the DSi will feature bigger screens and a built-in camera. Nintendo is also launching a new downloadable software service for the handheld.
