Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins on 3DS next month

Yellow fever.

3DS prequel Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins will launch in Europe on 26th April, publisher Nintendo has announced.

That's around a month after its blockbusting bigger brother Lego City Undercover arrives on Wii U (on 28th March - not long to go).

The Chase Begins offers a handheld version of Lego City Undercover's gameplay. The two games loosely tie into each other, too.

Both star rookie Lego cop Chase McCain, who is on a mission to put crime kingpin Rex Fury behind bars.

Spoilers: you put him behind bars at the end of the 3DS prequel, only for him to escape at the beginning of the Wii U game.

We haven't yet had a chance to try The Chase Begins, but its Wii U sequel has already earned high praise.
