Gearbox touching-up Homeworld 1 & 2 for Steam

Classic versions included for free.

Borderlands and Aliens: Colonial Marines developer Gearbox is remastering Homeworld 1 and 2 for Steam.

The studio intends to make the graphics look more modern, GameSpot AU heard at PAX Australia, and no doubt fit higher resolution displays.

Untouched versions of Relic's old space RTS will be included for free when buying the new versions on Steam.

No price nor date was talked about.

Gearbox snapped up Homeworld in April when done-for publisher THQ auctioned off a second load of IP. The studio's creative brain, Briant Martel, is apparently a huge fan.
