Game selling Xbox Live content UK-wide

Trial evidently went well.

All Game and Gamestation stores up and down the UK now sell Xbox Live content such as Arcade games and DLC.

The nation-wide roll-out follows a trial phase that ran from February this year.

Digital content manifests as a code on a receipt, email or SMS that can be redeemed on Xbox Live.

Buying digital content at comparable prices in Game or Gamestation has the allure of using store credit from game trade-ins, as well as loyalty points, to pay for items. You also need never enter credit card details online.

Game didn't offer any facts or figures about how the trial went.

Game is also trialling the sale of PlayStation Network games and DLC. A full UK roll-out is pencilled for mid-September.
