Fez tops Xbox Live Arcade chart in debut week

Acclaimed indie platformer just ahead of Skullgirls.

Rapturously received indie platformer Fez has entered the weekly Xbox Live Arcade chart at number one.

As detailed on Major Nelson's blog, Polytron's game (fresh off a 10/10 Eurogamer endorsement) came in just ahead of 2D fighter Skullgirls, which debuted at number two.

Ubisoft's survival adventure I Am Alive is holding up well in third place, perennial seller Pinball FX2 is at four and Gotham City Impostors is showing some legs at five.

Business was very much as usual over on the Xbox Live activity chart, with Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops continuing to dominate 360 owners' time.
