Don Bradman Cricket 14 delayed

Is it happening again?

Don Bradman Cricket 14 - that other cricket game - has been delayed.

It was due out this year. Now it will launch at some undetermined time in 2014.

"In order to bring the best possible game to the market at the best possible time we have decided to move the date into 2014," read an update on the game's Facebook page.

"We are working to get the game to all markets simultaneously and will advise as soon as we can of an exact release date once it is known."

Could we be in for a repeat of the disaster that was the launch of Ashes Cricket 2013 - a game that was cancelled after it released because it was so terrible?

Don Bradman Cricket 14 is developed by Australian studio Big Ant and is due out on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It's under license with the Bradman Foundation, and has been in development for four years, apparently.
