Disney Interactive Studios is developing a batch of games based on Alice in Wonderland.

They'll be inspired by the new Tim Burton film, which is set to hit cinemas on 5th March 2010. It'll star Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp, amazingly enough, along with Crispin Glover, Anne Hathaway and Levi Roots. Maybe not the last one, though the rate he's going no one would be surprised if it's retitled Reggae Reggae Wonderland.

The games are in development for Wii, DS and PC. You'll get to meet the Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat as you evade traps and solve puzzles. There's the Red Queen and her Army to face off with, not to mention the Jabberwocky (played by Ben Fogle). The DS version will feature an extra playable character and DSi players will be able to use the system's camera to unlock additional content.

All three titles will go on release alongside the film. Another game where you twist and turn your phone to guide Alice to safety is also in development for iPhone and other mobile platforms.
